Cholesterol High Foods and Heart Disease

Cholesterol, without too much, it’s actually produced in the body, especially in the liver and is essential for the proper functioning body. In fact, approximately 80% of the body with the remaining 20% comes from dietary sources. Or at least it used to. With more of our “fast food” dietary cholesterol lifestyle has become a major health problem.

Cholesterol in our body should be able to function properly. It is mainly used for the cell membrane and allows them to a stable and sustainable. This is particularly important in the development of nerve tissue, the cells of the brains and spinal cord. It is also used in the bile, which is an important part of the digestive process, the absorption of fat soluble vitamins such as A, D, E and K. And some hormones, can not live without.

Unfortunately, our modern diet is a lot to us a good thing. While high cholesterol food such as meat, eggs, fat and whole milk products should be eaten in moderation, the preponderance of foods rich in saturated fats and Trans Fats that are greater culprits. Fried foods, Snack Foods, processed foods in a box, and almost anything with partially hydrogenated vegetable oils, all fall into this category.

In fact, scientific studies have shown that foods with a high fat content of these species, a greater effect on cholesterol in the blood and eat only foods with high cholesterol. This does not mean that eating a diet high in cholesterol foods is a good idea, but it is much more important to avoid saturated fat and Trans Fats that are common in our diet these days.
